Last week I painted my pinch pots, pendants and ceramic rings after it was fired. It took me about day to paint. I had to be so careful when painting due to the fact that the ceramics can easily break. What intrigued me was how fast the ceramic paint dried, once brushed on a ceramic piece the paint dries within seconds if you applied it right. Every piece I made had to take the form of shells or inspired by shells but some of my pieces followed any oceanic theme. I integrated an octopus in one of the rings. The only thing left to do for my ceramic pieces is glazing.
