Today I received a design brief. The task requires me to make a contrast piece of jewellery. What is contrast jewellery? well the brief contains the dictionary meaning of contrast which is "the state of being strikingly different from something else in juxtaposition or close association". Although I know the dictionary meaning of contrast. The first step is to research and find what contrast means to me. The next step of this assignment is to design a piece of jewellery that I relate to contrast in one way or another. From the design drawings I must be able to make a prototype, in any material that I am comfortable using. If the prototype does not work. I can always change the design so when I make the finial piece there will not be any mistakes.
